This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities prohibited on Easy Bids. It is part of our Terms of Service. Violating this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
§1No Illegal Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any law, regulation, ordinance, or court order in any applicable jurisdiction.
- Commit, facilitate, or conceal fraud, bribery, kickbacks, bid-rigging, or collusion in public procurement.
- Misrepresent the source, authorship, or accuracy of an analysis to a public body or contracting officer.
§2No Unauthorized Content
You must have the legal right to upload every file you upload. Do not upload:
- Sealed bids, sealed envelopes, or material protected by Florida sealed-bid statutes.
- Classified or law-enforcement-sensitive records.
- Attorney-client privileged material that you are not authorized to share.
- Documents subject to an NDA or confidentiality obligation that prohibits sharing with third-party processors.
- Personally identifiable information (PII) of third parties beyond what's necessary for normal bid documents.
- Copyrighted material you don't own or have a license to share.
- Malware, scripts, executables, or files designed to harm the Service or other users.
§3No Abuse of Service
Do not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service or its prompts.
- Run automated bots, crawlers, or load-test tooling against the Service without prior written permission.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, quota limits, or paid-credit accounting.
- Create multiple accounts to evade quota limits or evade a suspension.
- Share your account credentials. Each natural person needs their own account.
- Resell access to the Service.
§4No Security Probing Without Permission
- No penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or DDoS testing without a signed written agreement.
- If you find a security issue, responsibly disclose it by emailing security@easybids.us. We will not pursue legal action against good-faith security researchers who follow responsible-disclosure norms.
§5No Misrepresentation of AI Output
- Do not present an Easy Bids analysis to a public body or contracting officer as if it were prepared by a licensed professional.
- Do not strip the AI disclaimer footer from exported Word or Excel files when sharing with third parties for compliance review.
- Do not edit the analysis to remove caveats and then redistribute it as a verified estimate.
§6No Anti-Competitive Use
- Do not use the Service to coordinate bids with competitors.
- Do not use the Service to support market allocation, customer-sharing, or price-fixing arrangements.
§7Enforcement
We may, without prior notice, suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP. We may also report violations to law enforcement when required by law or when there is a credible risk of harm. In serious cases (e.g., fraud, illegal content, security attacks) we will retain forensic evidence and cooperate with authorities.
§8Reporting Violations
To report a violation by another user, suspected fraud, or unauthorized content, email abuse@easybids.us with as much detail as you can share.
