We want every Easy Bids customer to get value from each paid analysis. This policy explains when we will and will not issue refunds for purchases made through Stripe.
§1What's Eligible for a Refund
We will issue a full refund (or, at your option, restore the consumed credit) in these cases:
- Technical failure: the analysis was billed but never delivered due to a Service error on our side.
- Extraction failure: the system delivered a "complete" analysis that is filled with "unable to extract", "document not provided", or otherwise contains no real content from your uploaded documents. (Our system now blocks this case proactively — if you experienced it before May 10, 2026 we will refund retroactively on request.)
- Duplicate charge: you were charged twice for the same Stripe checkout session.
- Unauthorized charge: a charge appears on your card that you did not make. Contact us immediately and also contact your bank.
§2What's NOT Eligible for a Refund
To be fair to both sides:
- You don't agree with the analysis output. The analysis is an AI-generated draft — see the AI Disclaimer. We cannot refund based on subjective disagreement with content.
- You uploaded the wrong files, accidentally ran the analysis on incomplete documents, or forgot to upload the addenda.
- You uploaded scanned PDFs with no OCR text layer. The system now refuses these uploads up front. If a run somehow got through, it is eligible under §1.
- Pro 30-day pass is past 14 days of activation. Pro purchases are non-refundable after the first 14 days, prorated below.
- Buyer's remorse. Unfortunately we cannot refund Pro after 14 days, or credits already used.
§3Time Window & How to Request
- Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the charge for one-off credit purchases.
- Pro 30-day pass: full refund within 14 days of activation if no analyses have been completed under Pro.
- Email billing@easybids.us from the email address on your account, including:
- Your account email
- The Stripe receipt number or transaction date
- A brief description of the issue
- We aim to respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days (banks may take a few extra days to display the credit).
§4Restore-Credit Alternative
Instead of a refund, you may ask us to restore the consumed credit to your account so you can try again with a different upload. This is faster than a card refund and often the right answer when the issue was on our side.
§5Chargebacks
Please email us first before disputing a charge with your bank. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first will typically result in immediate account suspension while we investigate. Honest disputes will always be honored — but surprise chargebacks cost everyone (you, us, and Stripe) time and money.
§6Free Tier (No Refunds Apply)
Free analyses are provided as a free benefit and are not refundable in cash. If a free analysis fails due to a Service error, we will restore the consumed quota slot.
§7Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Changes apply to purchases made after the effective date.
